Yasawa Princess’s return to cruising the waters of the Maldives is drawing closer, and Expedition Cruise Specialists has released a teaser as to what guests can expect from the refurbished small ship upon her return to service on 10 November this year. The series of renders, provided to ECS by the ship's owner Deep Blue Holidays, showcase a completely re-imagined vessel that is sure to deliver a real 'wow' factor to guests embarking in Malé at the start of the coming season.
The refurb, due to be completed by the end of October, will touch all internal areas of the ship, from cabins to the dining room, lounge and the sun deck. In addition to new layouts, there's also updated walls and floorings and stylish new furnishings and decor.
Yasawa Princess operates year round seven and 14-night cruises departing from the archipelago's capital Malé, allowing guests to explore the turquoise tropical waters of the Maldives' Central Atolls; South Male, Vaavu and Ari Atoll. Designed for both snorkellers and SCUBA divers, Yasawa Princess calls in at many of the archipelago's best reefs.
Highlights include Alimathaa night snorkelling, where you might see nurse sharks, sting rays and giant trevally. There's also a whale shark experience on the southern edge of Ari Atoll and manta ray viewing excursions.
According to Expedition Cruise Specialists’ General Manager Andrew Castles, this intimate cruise aboard the 56-passenger small ship offers a range of incredible locations. "Rather than being restricted to just one resort, this cruise allows you to experience some of the Indian Ocean's best beaches, atolls, coral reefs and uninhabited islands" he said. "It's truly the complete Maldives experience".
The seven-night cruise prices start at USD $1,995 per person, twin share in a Lower Deck cabin, inclusive of house wine, beers and spirits. To celebrate the relaunch of the refurbished Yasawa Princess, travellers can save 10% off these fares when they book and deposit with Expedition Cruise Specialists by 30 September 2025 to travel until the end of April 2026.
