Aman at Sea’s first ocean yacht, Amangati, has floated out at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Italy ahead of interior outfitting, sea trials and a planned May 2027 debut.

GENOA — Aman at Sea has floated out Amangati, its first ocean yacht, at the T. Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, marking the completion of the vessel’s exterior build and its transfer from dry dock to the outfitting quay.

The float-out took place on July 22, 2026, according to details provided in the company announcement. The milestone indicates the yacht’s hull is complete, sealed, watertight and painted.

Amangati will now remain in Genoa for interior completion over the coming months. Work will include the yacht’s 47 suites, Aman Spa, four signature restaurants, Selora lounge and marina area before sea trials, delivery and final preparation for guest operations.

“Today is a defining moment in the story of Aman at Sea,” said Jonathan Wilson, president and CEO of Aman at Sea. “To see Amangati painted, afloat and taking shape for the first time is to see years of design, craftsmanship and vision meeting the water together.”

Wilson credited T. Mariotti, Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and the wider project team for reaching the construction milestone.

“Every step from here brings us closer to welcoming our first guests aboard next May,” he said.

Amangati is scheduled to begin service on May 7, 2027, with a six-night maiden voyage from Palma de Mallorca to Nice. Its inaugural Mediterranean season will include five- to eight-night itineraries across the Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian and Aegean seas, according to the announcement.

Bookings are open for the maiden season and the yacht’s newly added Autumn 2027 Caribbean voyages.

The vessel’s onboard facilities will include two helipads, four limousine tenders and two open sport tenders. Social venues will include The Jazz Club, Cigar Lounge, Alira Pool Bar, The Bar at Aman Grill, Selora and a cinema.

Dining venues will include Alira, serving Mediterranean cuisine; Akari, offering Japanese dining; Hiori, a teppanyaki concept; and Aman Grill. The Aman Spa is described in the release as the largest spa in luxury yachting.

The launch represents Aman’s entry into the luxury yacht sector, extending the hospitality brand’s land-based resort model into small-ship cruising.
