Further expanding into Latin America, UnCruise Adventures has unveiled its newest small ship adventure cruise itinerary: Belize & Guatemala Wonders – Rivers, Reefs & Cultures. Six departures between October and December 2020 sail roundtrip Belize City on the 66-guest Safari Voyager. A special offer saves couples up to $800 on cruise fare.

The weeklong Belize & Guatemala adventure cruise explores Belize’s Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second largest coral reef in the world with more than 500 species of fish. Snorkel, swim, kayak and relax on the beach at Ranguana Caye, Carrie Bow Caye and Laughing Bird Caye National Park. Guests may see scientists at work studying coral, seagrass and turtles at the Smithsonian Marine Field Station.
At Payne’s Creek National Park, birds and wildlife may be seen on a hike, skiff tour or kayak excursion through the mangroves. In Guatemala, look for monkeys and toucans on a skiff ride up the Rio Dulce and explore the town of Livingston. Hiking enthusiasts can trek from town to The Seven Altars Waterfall. Back in Belize, Punta Gorda’s colorful market and nearby Mayan ruins bring culture and history alive. Other highlights include a hike in Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary, a visit with local Garifuna people and a class on coconut or baked goods at Punta Negra. Guests may see manatees, crocodiles, turtles, howler monkeys, birds and myriad tropical fish.
An introductory savings of $800 per couple ($400 for solo travelers) is offered on all six Belize and Guatemala departure dates in 2020.
