The ship on the Brahmaputra River - MV Mahabaahu is a 23 base and higher level cabins vessel with 5 decks, swimming pool, SPA, passenger elevator, bars, lounges, open decks and sun decks for which the detailed specifications are attached. The Brahmaputra River is the world's only river flowing in the shadows of 7,000 meters plus Himalayan mountains. It is also the world's largest riverine island system with both the largest and smallest inhabited river island located there. During the cruise we sail for nearly 100 kms through the Kaziranga National Park, visiting 8 ranges of 4 national parks and one wildlife sanctuary, seeing the Big 8 of the Single Horned Rhinos, Asiatic Elephants, Wild Buffaloes, Royal Bengal Tigers, Spotted Leopards, Clouded Leopards, Sloth Bear and the Barasingha Swamp Deer along with, 9 arboreal species, Freshwater Dolphins, amphibians like Rufus Turtles and reptiles like Monitor Lizards and King Cobras. The canal cruise boat on the Kerala Backwaters - MV Vaikundam is a 9-cabin teak and jackwood boat built in a traditional manner with a bar-lounge, dining room, sundeck and an Ayurvedic massage room. The Kerala Backwaters also known as the Emerald Waters due to the Coconut Palm Trees lining the waterways, gives a green hue to the waters, is a waterways system of lakes, lagoons, rivers and canals along the Arabian Sea.

During the cruise we visit the historical Kochi city as the Kerala coast was where Vasco DaGama first landed. From there we visit the martial arts school of Kalaripayattu which is the mother of all martial arts. Continue to the lovely temple town of Vaikom where along with the visit to the temple also experience a visit to a traditional village dance school and watch the Kathakali dances being performed and taught. Sail to a village that specialises in making ropes and mats of coir fibre and have a home hosted dinner with a celebrated chef where you learn how to use spices. Take an early morning excursion to a bird sanctuary and then a canoe ride through some very narrow canals flowing through villages. A day excursion to a temple town of Aranmula where one sees how traditional metal mirrors are forged and enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch with the family. Experience Ayurveda with a talk by a doctor. Visit a lovely church and the birthplace of Saint Chavara. Explore Mannar which is an entire village specialising in forging and creating brass lamps, decorations and bells used in temples and churches. Spend time on a beach on the Arabian Sea and sail through a very narrow canal with the ship brushing the coconut palm tree leaves, and emerge to explore a traditional boat-building yard. Finally the cruise ends in Alleppey which is an old river port city where a lot of trading happened for centuries. If lucky one can have the opportunity to see traditional festivals with either procession of gold caparisoned elephants or, wooden long snake boat races with village teams like local regattas.
