Australian superyacht specialist, YOTSPACE, has announced the debut this year of the first catamaran to cruise in the Kimberley – a brand new, ultra-luxe vessel carrying just eight guests that can be booked by the cabin or as a private charter.
Completed this month, Eclipse is being offered by superyacht cruise retailer and wholesaler, YOTSPACE, to offer 26 all-inclusive, seven-night expedition cruises in the Kimberley from April to October, 2024, with two different itineraries running on rotation.
As part of the launch of the revolutionary new concept in Kimberley cruising, YOTSPACE is offering 15 per cent savings for cabins or whole-vessel charters booked by February 29, 2024.
The owner of QLD-based YOTSPACE, experienced boat charterer Nicholas Mason, said he saw a market opportunity to open up the previously out-of-reach superyacht charter experience to the luxury, small ship cruise market in the Kimberley for the first time, cutting the cost dramatically by allowing cabins to be booked individually.
“We’re inviting discerning adventurers to experience an exclusive and environmentally conscious, new way to journey through the Kimberley,” said Nicholas. “It’s a five-star, fully crewed voyage for just four couples offering an indulgent VIP luxury yacht experience for a fraction of the cost, with gourmet meals, beverages and shore adventures all included.
“What we’re launching is a more exclusive and intimate way to connect with the Kimberley, with guests able to savour the high life with exotic cocktails, five-star cuisine and chilled tunes on sun-kissed decks. It’s superb value for an exclusive few.”
Nicholas said the high-tech, high-performance catamaran, Eclipse, had been curated to offer the pinnacle of sailing pleasure, with plush, airconditioned cabins with ensuites and ocean views, and open-air and interior dining areas and lounges for relaxation. “We’re bringing the rarefied world of luxury yachts to the mainstream market, redefining cruising in the Kimberley,” he said.
YOTSPACE is offering two different itineraries on rotation from Broome. The first is a seven-night, round-trip ‘Kimberley Explorer’ voyage embracing the Buccaneer Archipelago, Montgomery Reef, Ruby Falls, Sale River, Horizontal Falls and Kingfisher Islands.

The other itinerary is a seven-night ‘Iconic Kimberley’ journey north showcasing Montgomery Reef, Horizontal Falls, Camden Sounds, Kings Cascade, the Hunter River and spectacular helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls, and light plane flights back to Broome.

Individual cabins on one of YOTSPACE’s seven-night catamaran cruises are available from A$9520 per person, twin-share – a saving of $1680 per person, or 15 per cent, for bookings made by February 29, 2024.
Whole vessel charter fares have also been discounted by 15 per cent for bookings made by February 29, 2024, with fares from $72,590, covering eight guests.

Fares include chef-made gourmet meals, onboard beverages, explorations ashore – including freshwater swimming, fishing and walks - and attentive service by the crew including captain, chef and attendants.
