Last voyage to the North Pole (for now)

#expeditioncruising

The massive, nuclear icebreaker, 50 Years of Victory, will make its final voyage as a passenger vessel
departing Murmansk, Russia, on August 10, 2015.

The vessel will return to commercial maritime voyages along the NE Passage across the top of Russia thereafter.

For the final 2015 summer season, three voyages to the North Pole will be operated by Quark Expeditions in June followed by the four Poseidon Expeditions departures in July and August.
