Seabourn has announced its 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise, a 120-day voyage aboard Seabourn Quest covering more than 26,000 nautical miles and visiting over 50 destinations across five continents. The cruise will include complimentary expedition-style experiences, offered for the first time on a Seabourn world cruise.
The voyage departs Miami on January 7, 2028, and travels between Cape Horn in South America and the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa. Along the way, Seabourn Quest will call at destinations including Antarctica, Easter Island and the Falkland Islands, as well as ports throughout the Americas, the South Pacific and southern Africa. The itinerary also includes a transit of the Panama Canal, reflecting the route of the company’s inaugural sailing.
The 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise coincides with the start of Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year. Further details of anniversary-related programming are expected to be released at a later date.
Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn, said the voyage reflects the company’s focus on combining exploration with small-ship luxury. He noted that the itinerary is designed to reach remote destinations while maintaining the service standards associated with the brand.
Expedition-style experiences will be included at no additional cost in select regions, including Antarctica and the Chilean Fjords. These activities will be led by an expanded 18-member expedition team and are intended to provide guided shore excursions and nature-based exploration in areas typically visited by expedition vessels.
