Seabourn has opened sales for its 2028–2029 expedition season, featuring 49 departures across more than 180 destinations in 29 countries, with a focus on expanded Arctic exploration and the return of its long-duration Pole to Pole voyage.

The programme will be operated by Seabourn Venture and Seabourn Pursuit, with itineraries ranging from eight to 96 days and covering the Arctic, Antarctica and a range of remote Atlantic and sub-Antarctic regions.

A key feature of the season is the 96-day Grand Expedition: Pole to Pole, departing August 17, 2028, sailing from Reykjavik to Ushuaia. The voyage will span more than 20,500 nautical miles, linking the High Arctic with Antarctica in a single itinerary and visiting 14 countries and territories.

Seabourn said the Arctic programme will be its largest to date, with both vessels operating in the region between April and September 2028. Destinations include Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, Arctic Canada and the Northwest Passage, with new itineraries incorporating Labrador, Baffin Island and Ellesmere Island.

From October 2028 to March 2029, both ships will deploy to Antarctica, offering voyages of 10 to 25 days to the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, the Falkland Islands and the Chilean Fjords.

Across the programme, activities include Zodiac cruising, guided landings and kayaking, supported by onboard expedition teams.

The season coincides with Seabourn’s 40th anniversary, with the company positioning the expanded expedition offering as part of its continued growth in the ultra-luxury exploration segment.
